Reasons and solutions for ignition faults of boiler burners
1. The fuel injector of the hot water boiler burner does not spray oil
Possible reasons include blockage in the fuel supply pipeline, failure of the oil pump to pump, and vacuum leakage in the fuel supply pipeline. Remove the high-pressure oil outlet pipe and check the pumping condition of the oil pump. During normal pumping, the oil column should be sprayed out.
Another reason why the oil nozzle of the hot water boiler does not spray oil is that the fuel cut-off solenoid valve is not energized. When the fuel cut-off solenoid valve loses power, even if the fuel pump operates normally, the high-pressure end will not supply fuel to the fuel injection nozzle. Diesel fuel can only be injected when the controller opens the fuel cut-off solenoid valve. The purpose is to prevent primitive accumulation in the furnace. Diesel fuel can deflagrate when exposed to an open flame. In general, the burner will perform pre blowing during the ignition process, blowing out residual diesel fuel from the combustion chamber, and then injecting fuel to ignite. During the pre blowing stage, although the oil pump motor is running, the fuel cut-off solenoid valve is not energized, and the high-pressure diesel oil pumped by the oil pump is cut off by the fuel cut-off solenoid valve, preventing it from flowing to the fuel injection nozzle.
2. No ignition high voltage
After the ignition transformer is energized, a high voltage of about 8KV is generated, which damages the electrode gap and generates strong sparks, igniting the diesel mist. When the flame burns stably, electric Spark-ignition engine ignition is not required. The flame sensor sends flame status information to the controller to stop the ignition transformer.
The reason why a high-voltage fire does not occur is that the ignition transformer is not powered on (possibly due to poor contact of the power cord or relay in the controller); The second issue is the insulation between the two ignition electrodes, due to carbon deposition and high voltage, which does not generate discharge sparks. The distance between the ignition electrodes should be about 3mm, and the distance between the ignition electrode and the front of the nozzle should be about 5-7mm. The two electrodes must be well insulated.
3. The oil pump pressure of the hot water boiler burner is low
After long-term use and wear, the maximum pressure of the oil pump will gradually decrease, resulting in poor atomization of the fuel injection and difficulty in ignition. After a fire, a large amount of smoke will be emitted, and the flame will be unstable. Adjusting the pressure of the oil pump is also of no use. The aging of the nozzle leads to poor atomization, similar to this.
